About Dr. Rose
A born-and-raised New Yorker, I take an open-minded, compassionate, tell-it-like-it-is approach to my therapeutic work. After an emotionally challenging childhood and several unfulfilling attempts at healing in my early adolescence, I eventually met a psychologist who saved my life, and I have been on this path ever since.
I approach treatment from a holistic lens, in that I apply the rigor of evidence-based approaches with a light touch of skepticism and a hearty sense of humor. I believe that healing takes many forms, and that my job as a therapist is to help you figure out what those unique avenues are for you.
My work is informed by my belief that not only is true self-transformation possible, but that the road to lasting and meaningful change is one we are all invited to walk on, and that the discoveries, insights, and connections we build along the way are, in many ways, the whole point. My goal is that through this work, you will experience symptom relief as well as a clearer sense of your own purpose and motivations towards a life well-lived.

Frequently Asked Questions
How do I know if we’ll be a good fit?
No matter what specific issues you’re dealing with, women usually find me when they’re ready to step more fully into their power, whatever that means for them. Maybe it’s finally understanding the patterns you keep repeating, leaving something that’s been keeping you small, or just feeling like yourself again. If you’re curious about therapy that feels collaborative while still challenging your old patterns, book a free consultation by clicking here.
What is therapy with you like?
Our work goes deep: I’m direct and honest, and you won’t be judged here. Most of my patients work with me for anywhere from six months to two years, but that timeline might be longer or shorter depending on your unique needs, goals, and circumstances.
What modalities do you use?
I use a mix of Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral (CBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), as well as somatic, relational, and psychodynamic tools to help move patients towards change.
Ultimately, treatment is collaborative and personalized. If during the course of therapy, there’s an issue you’re having that I am not able to treat, we will work together to make sure you find the help you need, whether in addition to, or instead of, our work together.
