Therapy for Chronic Singleness in NYC
Therapy for chronic singleness with Dr. Rose Miller, PhD, in person in NYC or virtually across New York State.
What chronic singleness looks like
You’ve been single for a long time. Parts of your life are full, but you wonder why a relationship hasn’t happened for you, and whether it ever will. You might feel hopeless about love, or scared to even try.
What’s underneath
Long stretches of singleness can come from many places: circumstance, high standards, fear of vulnerability, or patterns that keep people at a distance without you realizing it.
How I work with chronic singleness
We work on building a full life now while getting curious about the patterns, fears, or beliefs that might be keeping love at arm’s length.
What changes
You feel less shame about being single, more open to connection, and more confident about what you want.
Is being single something therapy needs to fix?
Being single isn’t a problem. If you want a relationship and it’s not happening, we get curious about why, without assuming you’re broken. We hold both: your life is valid as it is, and it’s also okay to want a partner.
